Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng)


Long time ago “Nasi Goreng” is made for breakfast time only. But now everybody likes “Nasi Goreng” so it can be served any time. In some island especially in Java start at 9 pm until 12 am the “Nasi Goreng” seller will go around the street around the komplek house to sell “Nasi goreng” with gerobak (Movable wooden box).


Ingredients:

  • Rice
  • Chicken filet
  • Carrot
  • Peas
  • Button mushroom
  • Yellow and red paprika
  • Pineapple
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Red onion
  • Pepper
  • 1 spoon tomato sauce
  • Salt
  • 2 spoon oil



Directions:

  1. Slice the chicken into square shape
  2. Slice the mushroom
  3. Slice the paprika, pineapple, and carrots into square shape also
  4. Mince garlic, onion, and red onion
  5. Put oil into the pan, stir fry garlic, onion, and red onion that already minced. Put the chicken inside and wait until chicken well-done.
  6. After chicken well-done put mushroom, pineapple, peas and carrots, and wait until well done
  7. Put the tomato sauce inside and paprika
  8. Put rice, salt, and pepper
  9. Stir everything in the pan until everything good
  10. Now “Nasi goreng” ready to eat
